Dr Hogai Aryoubi is an Educational Strategist Associate for the London Union Society.
Hogai researches peace education in conflict settings. She is currently contracting for peace-based organizations and teaches full-time. Hogai gradated with her PhD from the University of Cambridge, Wolfson College, reading Peace and Education. She studied a Masters in Education at Johns Hopkins University, and the City University of New York with her Baccalaureate in Anthropology of Cross Cultural Aesthetics. Hogai was a former AmeriCorps, Teach for America, and Fulbright corps member.
Hogai is also the director of Zazai Peace Charity, which focuses on providing books to rural conflict-affected Afghanistan. She has also published in several education-based journals, with her most recent publication in 2021 on post-abyssal ethics in The British Educational Research Journal.
Hogai loves reading, traveling, hiking, art projects, and museums! She has been to over 50 countries. Currently, Hogai is based in Washington DC and has a virtual zoom office.
